Letter to Host Family

Dear future host family,
First of all I want to thank you for reading my letter and for giving me the chance to give you a little impression of me and the reasons why I would like to become an Au Pair. My name is Anastasia . I am 27 and I came from Russia. I like traveling around the world and I am interested in foreign languages and culture of others countries. Moreover I have always wanted to work with children, because I really love them. That is why I have choose the profession of foreign language teacher. So I have been learning English and German at the university for 5 years.
During my study I have practiced teaching. At the last studying year I also work at school as English teacher. After I graduated from university, I have decided to go abroad and work. Firstly I have found the host family in Germany. I have been working by family Ernecker for one and half year. My duties were: play with children, feed them, taking them for a walk, changing diapers, to take children from kindergarten and sometimes get them to bed. After it I tried studying at the University, but I couldn't learn in a proper way, because I should also work a lot. Therefore I broke my studying up and go to Austria to be an au pair one more time. It means that I have more than 2 years’ experience of working with children. I worked with children of different age. I can find a contact with any child.
I would describe myself as a very friendly, sociable, responsible and open-minded person. I would be really excited to live with you for one year and get the chance to make new experiences.

With best wishes from Austria,

28 years, Russia
