From 1 October, 2015 - the host family must give the au pair a minimum of NOK 5600 per month as pocket money/salary (before taxes) In addition, the host family must pay a minimum of NOK 8400 per year (NOK 700 per month) for the au pair’s Norwegian course and study materials. These rates will be increased every year.
