Letter to family
My name is Sheena Marie, but you can call me Sheena. I am from the Philippines, I am 29 years old, I am the youngest of eight children. I can say that I am blessed to be part of our family because we are binded by trust, respect, and love for each other. I took up and graduated (2012) Hospitality Management course at Lyceum of the Philippines University, also took up Methods in Teaching for 1 year. In my spare time, I do volunteer tutoring for non/poor reader children at an Elementary school near us. Taking care of children is not new to me, because I have my nieces and nephews growing up with the help of my care. I also love dogs, so if you have one then I'll be glad to take care of them as well. I love going for a walk or jog. I cook and bake maybe you'll like my cooking. I am interested in photography, but still working on my skills. I like art, music, and fashion as well. In my experience as an au pair in the Netherlands 2016-2017, it really helped me a lot as a person, and as a sister. As I have mentioned I am the youngest of 8 in our family, but when I went to the Netherlands and became part of the Spruit family I became the eldest, there was an awkward phase at first but time passed by and we were bonding like real siblings and my host parents were like my parents but younger. I helped my host parents with the best of my ability, in taking care of the 2 boys (6)(7) and a young lady (19), also their pet dog Lizzie, when the boys and I go out to play at kids park we tag along Lizzie for a walk to the dog park and we enjoyed it. I also helped, with the chores be it making heartily meals, laundry, vacuuming, tidying up our rooms, do errends and so on. I would be glad to be your next au pair, I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister to the children comes a big responsibilities, it will not always be just play and fun, there will be learnings as well from both ends. I can't wait to hear all about your family.
