DEAR FAMILY
I already know what a typical Au Pair is doing. I know myself more than anyone else and I can assure you that I can do it. I'm a homebody and I love cleaning, cooking and running errands. I'm a very independent person and I can share it to my host family, my skills and all the things I have learned. I can be of help to make their life lighter and easier. Tutoring and helping the kids academically, physically and spiritually will be of great help also. I know number of recreational activities wherein we can interact with each other to build good rapport and connection.
I would like to be an Au Pair because I want to get out of my comfort zone. And like my sister, I also like kids and I can confidently say that I can manage to do the chores and any things that Au Pair is doing. It will be amazing to learn new language and live in another country and have a firsthand experience in living abroad.
I am expecting of course some challenges and problems because Philippines, Denmark and Netherlands are very different countries. We have different principles, culture, beliefs and most specially language. But even so, I'll remain optimistic because I know dealing with things isn't an easy thing. To improve my work performance and myself, I believe there are still many things I must learn and need to strive to have a better life in the future.
