My name is Anna and I was born in April 2006. I live in the north of Italy and I have a big family. I started cycling when I was 3 years old and I have been doing this sport for 12 years. Therefore I can say that I am very sporty. I love going for walks and being in nature. I like to spend time with friends and family. My favorite thing to do is sit in a bar with them, have a coffee and enjoy the day. I like to read books and love to bake. My plans for the future are clear to me. After I graduate, I would like to go to Norway to live with a host family for a longer period of time. I want to get to know the language and the culture.
When i see pictures of norway, of the landscape, of the cities but also of the people, and I imagine being there too, it almost feels like a second home. Being an au pair girl in Norway is a big dream of my life.
But why I want to work as an Au Pair girl?
The main reason why I want to work as an au pair are the children. They are very special to me. They are still small and will experience and learn so much in life. I want to accompany them on this journey and support them as much as possible. I am aware that not every day will be easy, but that is exactly the challenge i love. It is important to be there for children and help them, even if it can be difficult at times. I can't wait to play with them, help them with their homework, be there for them when they are sad. but most of all i look forward to gaining their trust. I think that is one of the most valuable things there is. Dear host family, i can assure you that i will always be there for you and your loving child. When i'm with children, i feel like i'm reliving my childhood. The most important gift you can give a child is a great childhood. I often wish I could be little again and experience all those great things again. And that's exactly the feeling children give me. The feeling of childhood.
My experience with children is good. I often looked after a girl aged 6 months. Even later, when the child was 1 or even 2 years old, I looked after her. It wasn't difficult for me because I like being with children. My personal advantages is that I have a lot of patience and understanding.
Of course I don’t forget the other part of this job. And that is the housekeeping. It is not common to hear this, but i love to tidy up. It makes me feel safe, i feel very comfortable when it is tidy in my unfield.
It's also very important to me that things are clean at my home. I help my mother with the cleaning, such as vacuuming, doing the laundry and emptying the dishwasher.... I can assure you that I will do the housework well. As far as cooking is concerned, i'll be honest with you, i'm not a professional. But i would say that i can do it because my family has always enjoyed it so far. I would say that baking suits me better. I love to bake cakes. Sometimes i also bake bread.
