Dear Family,
My name is Kimberly Ann, but I prefer to be called “Kim” since it’s what the majority calls me. I am 23 years old and I live in Cebu City, Philippines. I am a versatile person, hardworking, kind, caring and very patient. I’m the youngest in our family with four siblings.
My family consists of seven members. My parents are Carlos and Melba. They have 5 children: the eldest is Carmel; next to her are twins, namely Catheryn and Cathelyn; the third child by birth is our only boy, Johnrey; and me-the youngest. Our family had our ups and downs in life, but we always believe that life in itself is really mysterious.
Three of my siblings have children, so I’ve been used to having kids around. Looking after my niece and nephew made me realize how much I love kids. There is no doubt that having them makes life more special. They bring so much joy in me and I can’t help but feel very protective of them. Although they aren’t my own children, but the bond we had as their aunt made me feel like I’m their parent/best friend/playmate all in one. I’m very grateful for them because they don’t only brightened up my day, but they also taught me life lessons that I won’t learn in school.
