Dear host family,
I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.
Hello, I am Rebecca C. , Born and raise in Dumaguete City, Philippines. Will be turning 21 this 27th on October.
I studied Nursing Assistant in my college years but unfortunately I stopped on my 2nd year level due to financial problem, I have my Caregiving NC2 certification from my course.
I have a big family, I have 3 sisters and only 1 brother. My oldest sister is a residence in Norway. While my second older sister is a residence in Finland with her family.
Third is my older brother living here in Philippines with his family he has two daughters (6 years old and 4 years old.) I'm on 4th in my siblings. And my little sister (youngest) she's 11 years old and in 6th grade in elementary.
We're only four living in the house my father, mother, me and my little sister. I used to prepare the meal, prepare the school uniform of my little sister, bring her to school.
I also do house chores, laundry. I also help my mother and father in our family business we make a home made ice cream here, we used to sell it and we also accept orders.
At the moment I am unemployed I am staying in the house helping on our family business. Taking good care of my little sister.
I think my expectations one of that is the opportunity to improve my language skills, to get to know a new culture and to gain some valuable experience abroad. Au pair has different responsibilities according to the host family needs. I am a helpful and proactive person you can expect me to participate in light houseworks, to get along with the family's children, taking good care to them, helping them with they're everyday needs as long with the family. I am a very flexible person. I am good in multi tasking, reaching goals in the right time. I am able to follow any kinds of rules and instructions given.
