The rates for Norwegian courses and pocket money for au pair are changed from 1th of October 2014

As of October 1, 2014, the rates for Norwegian courses and pocket money/salary for au pairs will be increased. The host family must give the au pair a minimum of
NOK 5.400 per month pre-tax as pocket money/salary.
In addition, the host family must pay a minimum of
NOK 8.100 per year for the au pair’s Norwegian course and study materials.
These rates will be increased every year.
